MatchprintÖ Laser Proof: Demonstration Session
At the Matchprint Laser Proof demo, Seybold attendees learned about Imation as a company and how and why it was spun off by 3M. Attendees then were run through the specifications and advantages of the new Matchprint Laser Proof system. During the presentation Bill Verhines of Imation was actually creating digital color halftone proofs. The proofs were then transered to a commercial or publication base via a standard Matchprint laminator. After this was done, attendees were allowed to examine the proofs and experience the high-quality proofs creaated with the PressTek PEARL setter HDP and Matchprint Laser Proof.
